Ms. Bruner, a patent agent of the firm, is involved in conducting patentability, infringement, and validity searches, preparing and prosecuting U.S. patent applications, and advising the prosecution of foreign patent applications.
Ms. Bruner graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Virginia Tech in 2010. While at Virginia Tech, Ms. Bruner was inducted into Alpha Chi Sigma, the professional co-ed chemistry fraternity. Before working as a patent agent, Ms. Bruner worked as a contractor for the USPTO, classifying pre-grant U.S. patent applications in the areas of Biotechnology, Organic Chemistry, and Chemical and Materials Engineering.
